SPAM Firewall Information for Current Customers

What the SPAM Firewall does:

  • Removes nearly all email SPAM and viruses . 
  • Looks at all incoming mail and rejects all known spam. 
  • Marks as [BULK] email that may be spam.
  • Allows real email to enter your email box.

Because Spammers change the techniques to send spam, some spam may get through. At this time no viruses have been allowed through the firewall.

If Captain Jack Communications is not currently hosting your web site and your email, call us at 515-964-8500 or email firewall@captainjack.com and put " SPAM FIREWALL " in the subject line. Please include both work and home phone numbers.

Rates for NEW Customers:

If you have a website and do not wish to transfer it to Captain Jack Communications:

  • $19.95 per month per domain name (no email limit)
  • One-time setup fee: $35

If you have a website and would like to transfer it to Captain Jack Communications:

  • FREE with any hosting package
  • Customary transfer fees will apply to each domain

If you don't have your own website, but would like an email box on the Spam Firewall:

  • $19.95 per month (up to 10 emails*)
  • One-time setup fee: $35

*Note: Emails will be assigned as "yourname@captainjack.com"
