Email Defender Information for New Customers

What the Email Defender Does:

  • Removes about 99% of SPAM & viruses
  • Rejects known spam & viruses
  • Quarantines questionable emails and does not pass to inbox.
  • Administration by each user for allow/deny list and quarrantine.
  • Covers individual email accounts selected by customer.

Because Spammers change the techniques to send spam, some spam may get through. At this time no viruses have been allowed through the Email Defender.

If Captain Jack Communications is not currently hosting your web site and your email, call us at 515-964-8500 or email firewall@captainjack.com and put " EMAIL DEFENDER " in the subject line. Please include both work and home phone numbers.

If you have a website and do not wish to transfer it to Captain Jack Communications:

  • $4.95/month for first 2 email accounts
  • $2.50 for each additional email account
    (i.e., $9.95 for 4 email accounts)
  • One-time setup fee: $35

If you have a website and would like to transfer it to Captain Jack Communications:

  • $4.95/month for first 2 email accounts
  • $2.50 for each additional email account
    (i.e., $9.95 for 4 email accounts)
  • Website hosting packages start at $9.95 per month.)
  • One-time setup fee: $35
  • Customary transfer fees will apply to each domain
